Weddings

The shots above should hopefully give you a flavour of what my wedding photography is about but if you would like to see more, there's plenty here in this slideshow.

So why wedding photography?

Hi Gareth, this is just to say that I am absolutely thrilled with all your photos! They are so great - they capture our wonderful day so beautifully and the sunshine just seems to beam out of them! I especially love all the ones of Rohit and I on our own together. Considering what a busy day we had you did an amazing job of capturing all the details too!

~ Deborah and Rohit

I don't often get asked why, quite often peolpe will ask what I photograph and the answer is mainly weddings and they will continue with where? and who? and how many?  and "I must have seen all sorts of weddings"? (yes, I have) but not why? very much. Well, I guess the answer is...I love it! I love most photography actually, but the privilege of photographing the most important day in a couple's life is exactly that - a privilege, That's something I'll never lose sight of.

I used to work in the computer business which I enjoyed (to an extent) but then fate dealt me a hand - I was made redundant which was not ideal at the time but, looking back, it's exactly what I needed. I remember the first wedding I photographed very well, I think I was more nervous than the Bride - I didn't tell her though! On my way home I remember being filled with satisfaction, excitement and anticipation. I still feel that now twelve years later. I think the day I feel like photographing a wedding is "another day in the office" and don't have a few butterflies in my stomach that will be the time to stop - that won't be for a very long time yet.

Thank you for your amazing service on the lead up and on the day of our wedding. Your communication, hard work and attention to detail has been fantastic. The photos are truly beautiful and we are so happy with them all.

If you like what you see, please give me a call to arrange a chat. I'll be very happy to offer some advice on your wedding day too - I have been to quite a few and know what works and what doesn't - have a look at the "Advice" page which may help.

Whatever photographer you choose, make sure you feel relaxed and happy in their company after all, they are going to be there with you on your wedding day.

Gareth's wedding photography covers all areas of Buckinghamshire including Beaconsfield, Amersham, Aylesbury, Buckingham, and Thame. Not only has he been a wedding photographer in Buckinghamshire but he can just as often be found photographing weddings in Oxfordshire from the Cotswolds to the City of Oxford itself. Areas in Oxfordshire covered include Oxford, Abingdon, Didcot, Witney, Burford, Bicester, Chipping Norton, Banbury, Wallingford, Woodstock and Henley.

Berkshire, Surrey and Hertfordshire are also regular visits for Gareth as a Wedding Photographer. These are by no means a limitation and Gareth has photographed weddings much further afield including destinations such as Ireland and Marakech.
